Our WPC boards consist of approximately 60% wood fiber (hardwood dust), 30% recycled high-density polyolefins (HDPE/PVC), and 10% chemical additives. These additives include coupling agents, UV stabilizers, processing lubricants, and pigments, which are extruded together under high pressure.
WPC panels expand and contract less than pure PVC or plastic boards due to the wood fiber content. However, they are still subject to minor changes from shifting temperatures. During installation, we recommend leaving 2-4 mm gaps at the edges to allow for thermal movement without warping the wall assembly.
